I've been following Hellion's development for a little while now. I'm much more interested in this game then I was in Dante's Inferno. This is shaping up to be more of an experience and less of a God of War clone. I like that.
There, I said it. "Cute". Not normally a word I associate with violent death, undead hunger and head shots. Age of Zombies features protagonist Barry Steakfries as he hops through time destroying undead brains, battling what looks like giant robots and there's something about a zombie T-Rex too.
Looks like EA is ready for some football. They've purchased a spot during the Superbowl to highlight their newest franchise - Dante's Inferno. Over the weekend they also dropped this nice (up to 720p) video montage of what hell may be like if you carry a fantastically large penis scythe.

Oh, with Del Ray (ne Ballantine ne Random House) doing the bulk of the dead tree work. Don't worry though, the fine folks who... Continue Reading →
Bioware and other assorted involved parties have just announced the first official expansion (read: bigger than DLC) for Dragon Age: Origins. DAO - Awakening! There's not much on the official site as of yet so here's all the info I've got my hands on so far.
Here are the first few screens and a trailer video from Disney's up and coming Tron movie based video game. Tron: Evolution. Looks neat but I don't know if it would ever replace the stand-up console Tron game I played back in the 80's. At least for nostalgia.
I have very distinct memories of burning quarters at the arcade on a new kind of video game which featured not computer graphics but gosh darned actual animation. Dragon's Lair made a huge splash at my local arcade and people lined up to jam that joystick to the left, the left! The LEFT DAMMIT! Now... Continue Reading →
