Indie Talks Episode 30 -Phil Kilcrease of 5th Street Games

smash1

The big 3-0! Welcome to episode thirty of Indie Talks, with Phil Kilcrease of 5th Street Games! Tonight we’re going to be smashing things. And rampaging! Smash Monster Rampage is 5th Street Game’s latest kickstarter, and it’s doing great! With a goal of $8,000 they’re up over $42,000 and looking to smash through some over funds.

Phil was a guest back in March where we talked Baldrick’s Tomb, and 5th Street is the publisher of the family favorite game My Happy Farm. This time around we highlight Smash Monster Rampage, and also talk about other 5th Street Titles, including my kid’s obsession with My Happy Farm. Phil also gives some insight into what it’s like to run a publishing business, from game idea through Kickstarting and distribution post-Kickstarter.

Extra Life

I’d also like to mention that this year’s Extra Life campaign is live! I’ll be playing table top games for not 24 hours straight, but 25 hours straight to raise money for Children’s Hospitals. Please check out my Extra Life page and if you have a few bucks, I’d greatly appreciate your sponsorship!
