Old School Podcast: Amaranthine Interview with David Hill

Last week, I heard about a new project on Kickstarter called Amaranthine. I checked it out and was intrigued. Imagine a group of immortals that are continually reborn into new bodies. As they live their lives, flashes of the previous lives are unlocked when they bump into others of their kind. Think Highlander but with a hefty dose of memory loss (also, without the crappy sequels).

I follow the co-creator of Amaranthine, David A Hill Jr., on Twitter and he was looking for some publicity for the book. After reading what I had read about it, and having reviewed Machine Age’s first production, Maschine Zeit, I definitely wanted to talk to David about Amaranthine. So I did just that. We sat down over Skype the other night and talked for twenty minutes or so about the new product, its design philosophies and what players can expect from it.

Suffice it to say, I’m pretty excited to give this game a try. The Interview is below.

Further information about Amaranthine can be found at the company’s website: Machine Age Productions.
