It’s also a huge download, just a squig short of a gig in size.

Other than it’s relative free-ness, where you can still opt to buy things as in-app purchases (like decks, foils etc.) that’s all I can really tell you about as I’m still downloading the damned thing.

All in all though, Ascension has been my favorite iPad app to date, so I’m looking forward to getting into some magic without forking over major bucks for new decks!
