Champions are you ready?

A crash from across the street alerts me as I am drinking my morning cup of tea. I quietly excuse myself to the lady's room, slip on my goggles, dawn my suit as I like to call it and squeeze out of the bathroom window. Just down the street I see the police talking to some Champions. I make my way to the broken building and and officer pulls me to the side. This is where my story begins.

There and back, Old School MMO’s.

I remember when my dad got his first PC back in the 80's, it had a monochrome monitor. The monitor had like a ton of different shades of green. Champions Online Review

Champions Online gets a lot of things right and a few things wrong. It's not going to be a WoW killer, but it's still a great game in it's own right. It's strengths are an amazing character creation system, exciting combat, some innovative ideas and great graphics. Lords Online is a MMOSLG, whatever the hell that means

Yes folks, the next generation of mold breaking MMOs are on their way, parading out of their development studios and on to a computer near you! What the heck is an MMOSLG? I see it as massive multiplayer online slog but maybe it's just the original Everquest speaking through my fingers. Massive Multiplayer Online Simulate Life Game. From the screen shots, it appears to be something of a cross between the original Diablo's graphics and Sim City circa 1263. Hopefully the game play is worth it.

Aion – the MMO where you start off with godlike powers

Aion looks to be an interesting entry into the world of MMOs. I've been hearing for some time about how the standard MMO model is in need of a major refresh as the fantasy/scifi fight/rest/grind/quest formulae is getting old.

It's a 99 cent iPhone/iPod touch Watchmen MMO about fighting and dumpster diving. Strip way the Watchmen license, add in Thunderbird or Night Train and this could have been Hobo Fighter RPG.
