Last Friday at 11:59:59 PM EST, the 2nd Annual Wayne Foundation Charity RPG Pack officially ended. Here’s a quick look at what we all did and how much we all raised. This was a fantastic success! Last year we raised just over $1800. This year we did significantly better. I’d given myself a month to ramp up this time, including advertising, asking folks to participate and getting the word out myself, not to mention collecting it all and organizing the event.

Next year, I’ll give myself six weeks of ramp up time. This will allow me a bit more wiggle room in getting participants and in putting together more advertising, including reaching out to podcasts and other blogs. Now, on to some metrics.

Being sold from Friday May 4th through Friday May 18th, the pack contained $235 worth of product, and retailed at $25.  Of that amount, I receive 65% of each sale.

We sold 167 packs, totaling $4175.00 in retail value. $2713.75 of which is sales revenue which will come to me. In fact, I’ve already initiated the process of getting the money from DriveThruRPG and into my account.  From there, $2713.75 will be transferred directly to The Wayne Foundation by way of Google Payments.

If you click the image below, you’ll make it larger. It’s a screen capture from DTRPG’s sales management page, where you can see to the totals. The reason why we have 168 total sales listed while we actually did 167 is because I downloaded a copy myself to ensure that everything uploaded properly.

Read on past the break to find out more.
