I think I'll let this little piece of awesome video speak for itself. Watch and enjoy.

Paradox Interactive has an interesting title on the horizon. Legio! It's a turn based strategy game (yay!) that features a chess like board and what looks to be combats between units. At a $9.99 price point for the download this game falls right into impulse buy territory. With the option for single player or two player the game is also interesting enough to intrigue me. Look for the game on May 21. Look for a few screen shots and a press release after the jump.

Now there's a new Civilization on the horizon - Civ V! Yes, built on a new engine from 'the ground up' as is standard practice when creating new versions of the game. Looks pretty sharp too. Here are some facts and screen shots. Also in the works - Civ Network, a Civ based game for . . . Facebook? Woah.

Mount & Blade was a game that was first brought to my attention a few years ago when it was just a beta, looking for some love. It took me a while but I finally got around to playing it and now I'm kicking myself for not picking it up much earlier. I've had it now for just over a year and it's one of two or three games I consistently return to when I've finished with The Next Big Thing.

There, I said it. "Cute". Not normally a word I associate with violent death, undead hunger and head shots. Age of Zombies features protagonist Barry Steakfries as he hops through time destroying undead brains, battling what looks like giant robots and there's something about a zombie T-Rex too.
