A crash from across the street alerts me as I am drinking my morning cup of tea. I quietly excuse myself to the lady's room, slip on my goggles, dawn my suit as I like to call it and squeeze out of the bathroom window. Just down the street I see the police talking to some Champions. I make my way to the broken building and and officer pulls me to the side. This is where my story begins.

In the red corner we have the defending Champion, tried and true, a fan favorite and even celebrities advertise for it! Woooorrrrrld of Warcraft! In the blue corner we have our challenger, winner of 2006's E3 MMORPG "Best Graphics", stated to have great character creation and recently awarded PAX's "Best MMO" Award! Aiiiiiiooonnnnn!

I started to play a game from Turbine called "Dungeons and Dragons Online" or DDO for short. At some point this year the game became F2P (Free to Play). The first thing I noticed is that you can interact with your environment, as in you can destroy boxes, pots, boarded up doors and barrels. The second thing I noticed about the game is that it seems that its partly an Action game as well as an RPG.

I remember when my dad got his first PC back in the 80's, it had a monochrome monitor. The monitor had like a ton of different shades of green. Needless to say it was not pretty, but we loved it because it was something new and for its time it was top of the line. One of the things I remember most about that time though is the game Zork.

So I've been watching PAX, E3, Comic-Con, GDC, Blizzcon and TGS for years and there's a few games that have been sticking out like a sore thumb.
