The Most Amazing, Bizarre, and Wondrous Thing I Have Heard in Years

This is a project called “The Symphony of Science.” Basically they have taken footage of Carl Sagan and other scientists talking about the Universe, some of their most beautiful statements, and turned them into music by digitally adding musical tones to the words and syllables. I know that sounds really strange on paper. Heck, you might not even like it the first time through at all. I can guarantee though that most of you, if you actually listen to the lyrics, will not only have it stuck in your head after a couple listens, but love the songs. It’s a message about man’s potential, that despite being utterly insignificant in scale to the Cosmos, we are part of the cosmos and therefore extraordinary. Put simply it is sublime stuff.

Did Nividia force the developers of Batman: Arkham Asylum to disable AA if you use an ATI graphics card?

Encase you haven't heard. Apparently if you have a ATI(AMD) graphics card in your computer. Batman: Arkham Asylum will not automatically use AA(Anti-Aliasing). In fact its not even a option you can turn on or off if you have a ATI graphics card. To make the game use it with a ATI graphics card you have to manually(Force) it on by using the Catalyst control center that comes with your ATI card. Now you might be asking yourself. What? Why would you have to manually turn it on only if you have a ATI graphics card but forNividia graphics card owners it automatically works? Well, lets find out shall we?

Russian UFO landing sites identified and photographed from the ISS.

Astronauts on the ISS and the NASA Earth Observatory have identified several mysterious circles forming under the ice of the deepest lake in the world. Lake Baikal in southern Siberia is "t is the largest (by volume) and deepest (1,637 meters at the deepest point) fresh water lake on Earth. It is also one of the world’s oldest lakes (25-30 million years old); sediment deposited on the bottom is up to 7 kilometers deep. The lake’s long, thin, and deep shape results from its location in the Baikal Rift Valley."
