Welcome to Indie Talks! The newest member of the Troll in the Corner podcasting network, Indie Talks is a discussion about independent publishing, where we take a look at indie games, the people who write them, and the people who play them. Indie Talks is a bi-monthly podcast in the same way that The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is a trilogy.

Episode 1 is the one that starts it all officially! I’m very happy to have Tracy Barnett from Sand & Steam on to kick this whole thing off. Tracy and I talk School Daze, his successful Kickstarter project, and also a bit about forthcoming projects, open design, and CC licensed games.

Coming soon: Chris Tregenza from 6d6 Fireball on 6/20, Marco Leon from Fable Forge on 6/27, The folks from Tabletop Forge on 7/9, Quinn Conklin from Occult Moon on 7/11 and many, many more!

Contact me with comments: Indietalks@trollitc.com, follow me on twitter @trollitc and also check us out on iTunes! While you’re at it, there’s the Indie Talks Facebook page and the Indie Talks Google+ page. Myspace…well, I won’t go there if you wont. Please do rate this podcast on iTunes, and leave feedback through any of these links!

This episode brought to you by RPGOrbit!

The music you hear is “Infralove” by Diablo Swing Orchestra, available free and CC licensed at Jamendo.

About Ben

I'm a geek. A nerd, a dweeb, whatever. Yes I owned garb, yes I still own medieval weaponry. And yeah, I could kick your butt in Mechwarrior the CCG. I love video games, role playing games, tactical board games and all forms of speculative fiction. I will never berate someone for wanting to be a Jedi and take everything Gary Gygax ever wrote as gospel. Well, all of this but that last bit.
