At PAX East, Tracy was able to sit down and record a series of talks about the state of the RPG industry today, GMing, gaming in general and all things geek.

In this episode, Tracy chats with RPG luminaries Rob Donoghue, Fred Hicks and Bill White.

Rob Donoghue and Fred Hicks you may know from Evil Hat Productions, who have a few little titles out, like the freaking Dresden Files and Spirit of the Century.  Bill White is, among many other things an RPG author and thinker of all things gaming.  Bill has written for Pelgrane Press on such topics as elder gods, investigation of such elder gods, and things incomprehensible to our meager, flyspeck race.

As always, this podcast is available right here, through DriveThruRPG and on iTunes.

About Ben

I'm a geek. A nerd, a dweeb, whatever. Yes I owned garb, yes I still own medieval weaponry. And yeah, I could kick your butt in Mechwarrior the CCG. I love video games, role playing games, tactical board games and all forms of speculative fiction. I will never berate someone for wanting to be a Jedi and take everything Gary Gygax ever wrote as gospel. Well, all of this but that last bit.

  1. Bill is also the author of the RPG Ganakagok.

The coolest part of the whole thing was that I didn’t even realize that Rob and Fred were Evil Hat until maybe halfway through Pax and I ended up talking with them quite often throughout the weekend. Great guys.
