Some sad news today.  Jack Vassel, son of Tom Vassel has passed away.

Tom does lots of good gaming work with The Dice Tower and is also slated to be a fellow guest at Total Confusion XXV.

You can read a bit about his son here.

My heart goes out to the Vassel family.  As a father myself, I can only begin to imagine what they are dealing with.  To help the Vassel family deal with the huge medical bills, some very kind folks at Board Game Geek have started a charity auction, featuring all kinds of great stuff.

Please consider contributing to this auction, bidding on an item or donating to help out one of our own.

About Ben

I'm a geek. A nerd, a dweeb, whatever. Yes I owned garb, yes I still own medieval weaponry. And yeah, I could kick your butt in Mechwarrior the CCG. I love video games, role playing games, tactical board games and all forms of speculative fiction. I will never berate someone for wanting to be a Jedi and take everything Gary Gygax ever wrote as gospel. Well, all of this but that last bit.
