We’ve not had a chance to talk about this one yet, but there is still time to get in on some awesome Fall Gaming Action! If you live in the North-Central Ohio area, then you need to take some time between October 14-17 and come check out Con on the Cob in Hudson, OH. As your friendly, local convention-coverer, I will be taking some time and heading there to check things out and give you awesome Troll in the Corner readers a look at how things go down at CotC.

Everything I have seen about this convention, from the website to the folks who staffed their tables at GenCon and Origins, makes this convention seem like it’s going to be really awesome. There seems to be a lot of attitude in all the right places, and a bunch of good stuff going on. Some of the things that I want to make sure I check out are, of course, the Game Sessions, The Art Show, and The Mother of All Marketplaces. The thing that excites me about the Mother of All Marketplaces is that I see a lot of smaller vendors, and I love supporting independent and local games and gamers. Being from Ohio myself, I see a lot of potential here.

I should be attending the convention on Saturday and Sunday, and I would love to meet some TC readers while I’m there. I’ll be doing my usual convention coverage, which means you can expect a lot of updates next weekend, and as much follow-up with interviews and Actual Play sessions as I can manage. So I hope to see you there. A 4-day pass is only $40, so what are you waiting for? Come on down to Con on the Cob and get corny! (That was corny, right?)
