I was doing my normal perusal of the RPG web corners when I happened across this wonderful map by Joe Wetzel (I believe, please correct me if I’m wrong).  It’s a large hex map of the US circa 1870, with railroads, major cities and Native American territories marked out.  This image is a small one, as it isn’t my map.  If you want to get the full sized version, hit that link and go visit Inkwell Ideas.

Another reason you may want to visit them is their amazingly simple yet effective city map generator.  Perfect for when your party suddenly needs or wants a city and you don’t have one laying about.  In fact, the entire Inkwell Ideas site is well worth a visit.

  1. This is absolutely awesome, I don’t know what to do with it, but I know I need to do something!
