Catwoman, Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Hippolyta, Supergirl, Lois Lane, Storm and Dark Phoenix.  All Heroines.  All parodied in the Superheroine Monologues!  If you’re going to be in the Boston area between April 10th through the 26th this looks like a fun show to check out.  It’s gong on at the Boston Playwright’s Theatre, a space that I’ve been in many times before.  Little known fact about me – I’m married to a woman who spent 13 years working in theatre.  The BPT was one of her stomping grounds for a few years.

Why do I think this will be good. Well to start off, look at the featured superheroines.  Add to that local Boston theatre awesome people Rick Park and John Kuntz as the writers and it’s going to be quite a show.

Here’s a neat teaser video to check out.

If you’re going to be attending the show, drop me a line – I may be there as well!

About Ben

I'm a geek. A nerd, a dweeb, whatever. Yes I owned garb, yes I still own medieval weaponry. And yeah, I could kick your butt in Mechwarrior the CCG. I love video games, role playing games, tactical board games and all forms of speculative fiction. I will never berate someone for wanting to be a Jedi and take everything Gary Gygax ever wrote as gospel. Well, all of this but that last bit.
