TC wishes you all a happy holiday

Whatever you celebrate - even if it's only a day of work or an excuse to eat a great dinner, here's hoping you have a great holiday season. On a personal note, as a connoisseur of fine Christmas music myself (I recently broke out my Star Wars Christmas Album) I bring you one hell of an awesome Christmas video.

Freakiest child nightmare inducing movie ever. Robot swarm moves a kid

Here you have a robot swarm moving a child. Note the look of paralyzing fear in the childs face. Obviously their parents promised them a puppy if they would just lie still and let the cute looking, LCD encrusted robot swarm do it's thing. This kid will be in therapy for YEARS.

Whether they're kids who love science or scientists who love toys - there will be something here for every geek out there. All of them under $20 I know that I would love any one of these, as would most of my friends.

Living with the dead – Zombies in Role Playing Games part 2

Now that we've discussed a bit of the nature of zombies themselves entering into a campaign, we'll take a look at how the living are coping with the dead. The living need somewhwere to live - in this environment it needs to be a safe haven where even asleep a reasonable amount of security and safety can be expected.

Inviting Zombies to game – integrating a zombie apocalypse into your RPG system

We here at Troll in the Corner have been thinking about zombies a lot lately. More specifically about inviting them into a role playing game. While we're not sure which system we're going to integrate them into yet, we've been sketching out a few thoughts about bringing zombies into systems that don't come stock with zombies. Not your D&D style, couple of zombies in an encounter meet up. We're talking full on Zompocalypse here. A situation where the majority of humanity is either dead, or dead and hungry.

Fantastic holiday gift ideas for any geek you know. Including a PS3 deal, R2D2, cheap wireless and lots of gadgets

Being a geek can mean many things to many people. There are film geeks, computer geeks, theater geeks, you name it. To me it implies the ability to focus on a certain area with great intensity, gleaning great enjoyment out of it. I'm kind of a gadget/toy/game geek myself. As such, I keep an eye out for some good deals for us all. Especially now with the holidays fast approaching.
