Oh, this is my favourite game! It's really cool.
It was very interesting to read about how it was created and what are the plans of creators for future.

http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=threads&hl=de&emb=0#
This is what happened to the civilians ;)
I do wonder how many accurately played thru the starvation, multiple old infected wounds, plagues and radiation sickness...

Because then simply survival, killing an elk that isnt radiating too much being a worthy goal :D Warm clothes.. yes bullet wounds do ruin clothing.
And those way too varied lists of equipment, troopers should have the basic equipment and nothing else.
Or are there troops in iraq hauling around their own trucks with generators and distillers? Let alone a minor arsenal of half a dozen rifles.. own explosives etc.

technically, this is the 3rd edition of Twilight:2000. There was a 2.0 and a 2.2 (though I never played them, and stuck with 1.0).

Highly recommend purchasing - looks to be a great game, with some unique combat mechanics that I've not seen before - exchanges of fire followed by pauses, followed by another excahange of fire. Seems very realistic to me.

I hadn't even realized this game was coming out in a second edition. I still have all of the first set at home in a box somewhere. Now I won't have to dig them out!

This is the best thing I've seen all day!
